Concrete Curbing and Sidewalks
Concrete Curbing is an important part of every parking lot and driveway area that takes on many different forms and serves multiple purposes for both concrete and asphalt paved parking lots alike. The primary functions are drainage control and traffic control. During the planning phase, driveways and parking areas are designed to direct all storm water to these curbs. From there, the curbs determine the flow, speed and ultimate destination for the accumulation of water including rain, irrigation or service lines. Concrete curbing also gives the parking area a defined layout and helps direct vehicles to the proper driving and parking areas, while giving a polished uniformity to the landscaping.
